I wanted my Epidemic Sound downloads to show up inside Final Cut Pro’s sound browser. The trick is a folder structure plus an alias.
Folder structure
I keep one audio library folder with two subfolders: one for effects and one for music. Downloads go into those, so everything stays sorted.
Linking it into Final Cut Pro
Make an alias of the audio library folder and place it here: Macintosh HD, Library, Audio, Apple Loops, Apple, Final Cut Pro Sound Effects. After a restart, Final Cut Pro shows your folders in its sound effects browser.
Favorites
I also made a favorites folder. It contains aliases of the tracks I use most, so I can find them quickly without duplicating files.
The affiliate link for Epidemic Sound is in the video description. Setup of the Mac app itself is covered in Epidemic Sound macOS App.
